Moroni Canal Piping

Franson Civil Engineers assisted Moroni Irrigation Company in obtaining $4.5 million in grants and loans to convert 14 miles of open ditches to underground pipes. By piping the ditches, they will save approximately 40% of their water. The pipes are designed to be pressurized when there is more demand. The project included designing a de-silting structure to sluice sediment back to the river.
