Franson Civil Engineers assisted the Willow Creek Irrigation Company/Axtell Special Service District with a new pressurized irrigation system. Our scope of work included planning, creating a hydraulic model, funding acquisition ($1,000,000 from Water Resources), pre-design, design, and construction review. Design drawings and specifications were prepared for all components.
The existing ditch from their main diversion was replaced with a 21-inch pipeline. Next, we designed and constructed an irrigation regulating pond at the end of the new transmission line. Finally, we designed a new pressurized irrigation system to service 1,200 acres.
