The Ouray Park Water Improvement District provides water to 112 connections in Uintah County in areas known as Avalon and Leota.
Franson Civil Engineers prepared a Culinary Water Master Plan, including preparation of a facility inventory of the existing Ouray Park system, review of water shares, and an alternative water supply was identified. To develop a hydraulic model, we used an inventory of existing connections, locations, and water use information. We analyzed the system for current system pressures and fire protection adequacy. We prepared and reviewed a GIS system map and future scenarios. Through the Master Plan, we addressed three alternatives and prepared cost estimates for each; we made recommendations and identified funding sources.
